How could you "not" believe in Angels? God said they exist thats good enough for me and I can feel them around me when I need them the most.

An elderly couple from my church testified of one dark foggy night they became stranded on a road out of gas. A stranger drove up and offered to assist them. He offered to take them to a service station to purchase some gas, but they were afraid to go with him (they hoped maybe a patroling police officer would soon come by). So the stranger left. The couple sat alone worried because the fog became more denser and no one else had passed by for quite some time. Soon, the stranger returned. With him he had a gasoline can and he poured gas into the couple's gas tank. The husband took out his wallet, got out of the car, and preceded to go to the stranger to pay him. But he was not there! nor was any vehicle! They did not see him leave.. (which they would have had to because it was dark out and they surely would have seen his headlights!)
Was this stranger an Angel? The couple believed he was!!
