Easy Chicken Alfredo Ingredients
6 - 8 cups pasta (any kind) 2 pieces chicken breasts 1 onion chopped (optional) 1 tbsp. of olive oil *Sauce:* 1 can mushroom or cream of chicken soup 2 cups milk 1 - 2 tbsp. butter or margarine 3 tbsp. flour 1/2 cup sour cream 2 tbsp. Caesar dressing (optional) 2 cloves garlic, minced to taste salt, pepper Directions Chop chicken into bite-size pieces or strips, then in a frying pan, add oil, onion and chicken. Fry chicken until it's cooked through, cover and keep warm. Cook pasta as directed on pkg. Over medium heat in a saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour until it's smooth. Immediately add milk, stirring with a wire whisk at same time, sauce should thicken as it comes to a boil. After milk mixture has come to a boil, stir in with wire whisk, soup, sour cream, dressing, garlic, salt and pepper. (If sauce is too thick, add more milk to thin.) Dish out 4 - 6 plates of pasta, top with sauce then fried chicken. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese (optional) and serve immediately.
